BECKEMEYER — Losses are being estimated at $2 million from a large shed fire Wednesday night in Beckemeyer where multiple tractors were stored.
Around 7 p.m. Wednesday, Beckemeyer firefighters were dispatched to a report of a shed on fire at New U.S. 50 and Stolletown Road.
The 60-feet by 100-feet building appears to be a total loss.
Beckemeyer received assistance from, Carlyle Fire Department, Breese, Wheatfield, Clinton County Emergency Management Agency, Huey Ferrin & Boulder Fire Protection District, Bartelso, Germantown Volunteer Fire Department, St. Rose Fire Department.
Due to the location of the shed, water had to be hauled to fire
