Jeffrey Kirkman, 38, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024.

He was born July 18, 1985 in Centralia, the son of Rodney Kirkman and Victoria “Vickie” (Roper) Kirkman. Jeff married Tami Folwer in 2006 and she preceded him in death in January of 2010.

In addition to his parents, Vickie Kirkman of Centralia and Rodney Kirkman of Benton, Jeff is also survived by two children, Baylee Kirkman of Mt. Vernon and Noelle “Elle” Schueler of Tennessee; five siblings, Kristy Wilson of Centralia, Robert Kirkman and wife Amy of Posey, Ricky Potter and Ashley Clark of Ashley, Tyler Ashby of Irvington, and Kelsey Clark and husband Josh of Central City; several nieces and nephews, Jessie Wilson and Jake Moore of Centralia, Samantha Wilson of Carlyle, Tommy and Lucas Johnston of Posey, Kymbree Frost and Camdyn Potter of Centralia, Reihna Cox of Centralia, Hayden and Elleona Clark of Ashley and Jaxon Clark of Central City; two great-nephews, Keegan and Kaiden Wilson of Centralia; an uncle, Rev. William “Bill” Roper and wife Carol of North Carolina; special aunt, Peggy Lane and fiance, Bo White, of Centralia; sister-in-law, Rachel Emmeret Potter of Centralia; several cousins and best friends, Kimberley Wallace of Kentucky and Kevin “MD” Cooper of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Roper of Centralia and Marjorie Niswanger of Centralia, Dorthey Mummborer of Benton and Tami (Folwer) Kirkman of Thompsonville and step-father, Paul Howard of Centralia.

Jeff was a graduate of Centralia High School and worked as a tree trimmer for several years. He was a die hard Cubs fan and cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

Cremation Rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
