CENTRALIA — A fundraiser for a program designed to encourage reading in young children will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Centralia Library.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides free books each month to children under the age of 5 who live in Jefferson, Marion, and Washington counties.

Each month an enrolled child receives a book in his name at no cost. If a child enters as a newborn, they will receive 60 free books in their first five years of life.

Please take advantage of this opportunity for our area youth and attend Saturday’s event from 1-3 p.m. at the Centralia Library.
