CLINTON COUNTY — The 32-year-old husband of a Centralia woman arrested last week for allegedly cutting him in the face with a box cutter, is in the Clinton County Jail this morning, charged with felony domestic battery.

Terry Burner was arrested Sunday for alleged domestic battery to his wife Tina. He was formally charged this morning in Clinton County Court with Class 4 felony domestic battery with 1-2 prior domestic battery convictions, misdemeanor interference with the reporting of domestic violence and misdemeanor possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis.

His wife was arrested last week for allegedly cutting him on the face with a box cutter during a domestic altercation. She told officers at that time, however, that her husband had cut himself to avoid going to jail for domestic battery.
