MARION — One person has been arrested while another person is still being sought in connection with an alleged armed robbery at a Marion grocery store Tuesday night.

Marion Police say around 9:10 p.m., police went to Borowiak’s IGA in Marion on a report of an armed robbery in progress. During the robbery, one of the employees fled out the back door and called 911.

Just prior to officers’ arrival, the suspects fled out the north door. Both suspects were black males, one wearing a black t-shirt with a gray hooded shirt underneath and the other suspect was wearing a red hoodie.

After a short track by a Marion Police K-9, the suspects were located in an area north of IGA. Both suspects were bit by the K-9.  One suspect was identified as 23-year-old Isaiah D. Dossie.

One purse was located where the suspect was caught, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash belonging to IGA. The purse was taken from IGA and belonged to an employee.

Police say Dossie is charged with armed robbery, obstruction and also had an active warrant from Wisconsin. Meanwhile, the other suspect being sought was wearing a black hoodie and may have a dog bite on the lower part of his leg.
