MARION COUNTY — A 23-year-old Patoka man was released from the Marion County Jail after being arrested in connection with leaving the scene of an ATV accident Saturday morning that left his step-brother injured and unresponsive.

Dylan Adams reportedly crashed into a vehicle around 12:45 a.m. Saturday on Gerrish Road near Pope Road just north of Sandoval, causing the ATV to go into a ditch and Braydon Gambill to be thrown from the ATV. Gambill was found unresponsive at the scene.

Adams allegedly left the scene of the crash and went home, returning to the scene with another man to haul off the ATV. It was at that time that Adams was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of an injury accident and illegal transportation of liquor.

He was taken to the Marion County Jail but was later released.
