WILLIAMSON COUNTY — A second bomb threat to the Johnston City High School this brief school year has resulted in the arrest of one student following the Monday morning evacuation of students.
According to police, Monday’s threat saw students evacuated to the football field until the building was cleared.
The school was evacuated last week after a note was reportedly found in a boys’ bathroom.
Three bomb threats were made to Johnston City Schools last year, with schools in Mt. Vernon, Hamilton County, and Wayne City also facing multiple evacuations throughout the school year for similar threats. Multiple juvenile arrests were made in separate threats in last year’s spate.
