JEFFERSON COUNTY — A high-speed chase through multiple counties Friday night ended with three arrests in Jefferson County.

The chase started in Royalton with speeds reaching at least 70 miles per hour. The pursuit wound its way through several communities, before ending around 9 p.m. in Jefferson County when an Ina police officer deployed spike strips, causing the suspect vehicle to run off the roadway shortly after.

No injuries were reported, but three individuals were reportedly taken into custody. They were taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
