CENTRALIA — A 24-year-old Ashley man was arrested overnight by Centralia police, after he allegedly dragged his girlfriend down an alley on the south side of town.

Brandon Rogozinsky was arrested on a domestic battery charge and on an outstanding warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Police responded to a 911 call made by Rogozinsky’s girlfriend saying he was dragging her down an alley behind the Huck’s convenience store on Calumet Street and was striking her.

Rogozinsky had been on parole since May, after serving time on a theft conviction out of Clinton County and methamphetamine possession out of Marion County.

He remains in the Marion County Jail
