CENTRALIA — Consumers are being alerted to a recall of certain grilled, marinated chicken breasts from 26 Schnucks stores, including the store in Centralia. The recall is of the “72 Butter Garlic Grilled Marinated Chicken Breasts”.

They were sent to eight locations in Illinois – including to Centralia, Carbondale, and Evansville — 16 locations in Missouri and two in Indiana.

The recalled chicken breasts were carried in the Deli Department and most were sold on Wednesday or Thursday.

The supermarket says it will offer customers a refund, but it wasn’t exactly clear if any one got sick from the chicken.
