JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office/Mt. Vernon Police Department High Risk Team served a search warrant yesterday in Ina that resulted in the arrests of two adults and one juvenile on multiple drug and firearm charges.
According to Sheriff Travis Allen, at approximately 6:45 Tuesday night, the HRT served the warrant at a home in the 200 block of South 2nd Street in Ina. The MVPD/JCSO Narcotics division conducted the search and arrested 34-year-old Amber Howard, 52-year-old Kenneth Bressler, along with a 16-year-old juvenile.
The search of the residence reportedly revealed suspected methamphetamine, methamphetamine manufacturing supplies, a firearm, ammunition, and drug equipment.
Bressler has been charged with methamphetamine manufacturing, disposal of methamphetamine waste, possession of methamphetamine materials, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug equipment, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of firearm ammunition by a felon.
Howard has been charged with methamphetamine manufacturing, disposal of methamphetamine waste, possession of methamphetamine materials, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug equipment.
The juvenile was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug equipment. The Juvenile was later transported to Benton where he was turned over to Juvenile Detention.
Howard and Bressler were taken to the Jefferson County Jail where they await the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
