Ryan Jacklin was initially charged with Class X felony manufacture of more than 400 grams of meth protected by a firearm, Class 1 felony delivery of less than 15 grams of meth, and Class 3 felony possession of a shotgun with a barrel of less than 18 inches.

Jacklin pleaded guilty Thursday to reduced charges of Class 3 felony possession of less than 5 grams of meth and possession of a shotgun with a barrel of less than 18 inches. He was sentenced to 2-years on each count to run concurrent and will receive credit for 75 days served.

His sentence was stayed until after his court hearing in Richland County Court where he faces charges of Class X felony delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine, Class 3 felony being a felon in possession of a firearm and two counts Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.

He was recently charged with a new case in Richland County of Class 2 felony harassing a witness or family member and Class 4 obstruction of justice by inducing a material witness to leave the state or conceal themselves. An additional charge of Class X armed violence was added to his original case.

Any convictions and sentences in Richland County would have to be served consecutively to the sentence handed down Thursday in Washington County, as would any convictions or sentences handed down in two separate felony cases still pending against Jacklin in Marion County.
