JACKSON COUNTY — A man wanted by Du Quoin police following an alleged home invasion over the weekend has been arrested.

According to police, Trayvon A. Johnson was taken into custody early Sunday morning in the Carbondale area.

Police say an elderly woman received cuts and bruises from the incident around 7 Saturday morning.

Police then started looking for Johnson. They had an active warrant out for him for the incident, charging him with attempted murder, home invasion, armed robbery, aggravated battery and residential burglary.
