WALNUT HILL — A Friday night fight at PT’s Bar in Walnut Hill landed a 27-year-old Walnut Hill man in the Marion County Jail after he allegedly struck one person with a hammer.

Tyler Atchison was arrested for alleged aggravated battery. According to reports, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the bar on a report of a fight in progress.

Atchison had reportedly been ordered to leave the bar earlier but returned a short time later and began swinging the hammer at Donnie Wilson,of Centralia, and striking him.

Atchison also reportedly was throwing chairs and tables in the bar while wielding the hammer.

Shelly Lynn Moore, also of Centralia, was also reportedly a victim in the incident.

Atchison was taken to the Marion County Jail to await the formal filing of charges and setting of bail
