The Metro Nashville Police Department announced in a tweet on Monday that Reinking is in police custody, having been found about a mile and a half from the Waffle House, ending a manhunt that began shortly after the shooting early Sunday. Reinking is suspected of opening fire in the restaurant with an AR-15. He faces multiple counts of criminal homicide. Police have identified the four people killed as Taurean Sanderlin, 29; Joe Perez, 20; Akilah DaSilva, 23; and DeEbony Groves, 21. Two others, Shanita Waggoner, 21, and Sharita Henderson, 24, were wounded in the incident. Reinking arrived at the restaurant at 3:19 a.m. on Sunday wearing only a green jacket. The gunman took the jacket off after the shooting, and fled the scene on foot in the nude.
