MARION COUNTY — A foot chase with police Saturday led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Wamac man being sought from an earlier pursuit when he allegedly fled on an ATV.
Joshua Keebler was arrested for alleged possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine, possession of a narcotic instrument, no valid driver’s license, resisting arrest and criminal damage to property.
Wamac police had been looking for Keebler for allegedly riding an ATV on Canadian National property. He reportedly eluded police when he fled on the ATV. But he was captured following a brief foot chase Saturday.
Officers reportedly found Keebler was in possession of meth, a hypodermic needle and drug paraphernalia following his arrest
Keebler was taken to the Marion County Jail to await the formal filing of charges and setting of bail.
