CENTRALIA — Centralia police are investigating an early Tuesday morning robbery of a southside convenience store.
According to police, around 5:45 a.m. they received a report of an armed robbery at the Huck’s Store on East Calumet Street in Centralia.
Reports indicate a white man armed with a gun entered the store and demanded money before shoving two clerks behind the counter and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash taken from the register.
No injuries were reported and no customers were in the store at the time of the incident.
