CENTRALIA — Becky Ault, who was the first and so far only woman to be elected mayor in Centralia, passed away Friday morning at the age of 80.
Ault was elected mayor in 2009 and served until 2013. She went on to serve as the Executive Director of the Centralia Area Historical Society and had previously served as Director of BCMW for 17 years from 1978 through 1995 and as a city council member from 2007 through 2011.

Ault was a life-long resident of Centralia and graduated from Centralia High School in 1960. She passed away at 7:10 a.m. Friday at Centralia Manor in Centralia.
