CLINTON COUNTY — A $150,000 bench warrant was issued Monday in Clinton County Court for a 19-year-old Trenton woman charged in connection with a one-vehicle crash in January that claimed the life of her 14-year-old passenger.

Hadlee Grogan was formally charged Monday in Clinton County Court with two Class 2 felonies for aggravated DUI resulting in a fatal crash, and Class 3 felony reckless homicide with a motor vehicle.

Two traffic citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper traffic lane usage were refilled with the superseding indictment charging her with the felony offenses.

Information says around 10:29 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a crash north of Trenton on Sportsman Road near Rutz Road.

The sheriff’s said 14-year-old Jarron Haberer was ejected from the vehicle in a “rollover type crash.” He later died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.
