WILLIAMSON COUNTY — A Colorado man is facing drug charges after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies on routine patrol Sunday morning on Interstate 57 stopped a vehicle after seeing the driver commit a traffic violation.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic stop was conducted and through the course of an investigation the driver, identified as Robert I. Sullivan of Denver, was discovered to be in possession of 61 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, 238 grams of cannabis contained in multiple pressure sealed bags, 4 boxes of THC sugar wax, 10 THC vape cartridges, and 3 THC gummy edibles.
Sullivan was arrested and cited for Possession of Cannabis (100 to 500 grams), Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver (30 to 500 grams), Delivery of Schedule 1 Narcotic (psilocybin mushrooms) (50-200 grams) and Possession of Schedule 1 Narcotic (psilocybin mushrooms) (greater than 200 grams).
Sullivan was remanded to the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
