MARION – The Southern Illinois Made Expo happens this weekend at The Pavilion in Marion.
The annual event, organized by State Sen. Dale Fowler and Southern Illinois Chambers of Commerce, showcases innovative products, unique creations and tasty treats made by Southern Illinois artists, designers and manufacturers and the beauty of destinations in our area.
This year’s theme is “Christmas in July” and Santa will be making a special appearance.
This year’s expo will support three incredible charities: Honor Flight of Southern Illinois, This Able Veteran, and Down the Leash Service Dogs. All proceeds from admission and exhibitor fees will be split among these organizations, each dedicated to serving our veterans in unique and meaningful ways.
The expo will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The Pavilion, located on Sioux Drive behind the former Illinois Star Centre Mall, in Marion.
