MURPHYSBORO – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) announced that he will be conducting a five-stop agricultural tour across Southern Illinois in the first week of August, including events to discuss the Farm Bill, trade, and renewable energy and a visit to Ag Day at the Illinois State Fair.
“Agriculture is the backbone of our rural economy. That’s why we’re dedicating the first week of August to all things Southern Illinois agriculture,” said Bost. “As Southern Illinois’ voice on the House Agriculture Committee, I am proud our committee has passed a 2024 Farm Bill that works for our farmers, growers, and producers, and I look forward to highlighting those wins with my constituents.”
