
NASHVILLE, IL — A traffic stop last Thursday led to drug-related arrests in Nashville, Illinois. Officers stopped a vehicle on E. St. Louis St. and arrested the driver, Jesse R. Sexton and passenger, Brandy M. Barns. A vehicle search uncovered methamphetamine, fentanyl capsules, and drug paraphernalia. After arriving at the Washington County Jail, Barns was found to have additional concealed contraband, including more meth, fentanyl, and syringes. Sexton faces charges of meth possession, controlled substances, and paraphernalia, while Barns is charged with similar offenses and possession of a syringe.
