CENTRALIA, IL — We are now getting details about a two vehicle crash that happened last Thursday near the south entrance to Kaskaskia College. One person was injured. Authorities say 18-year-old Katherine Johnson of Centralia pulled out in front of a northbound pickup truck driven by 18-year-old Andrew Gallaher of Nashville. Johnson was trapped in her minivan and had to be extricated by the Centralia Fire Protection District before being taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital. Gallaher was not hurt.
