CLINTON COUNTY — Clinton County IL Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for a Monday morning armed robbery of the Mobil gas station in Carlyle.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Carlyle Police Department at 594-2488. If your information leads to an arrest and conviction, you could be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.

According to Carlyle police, at approximately 5:13 a.m. Monday, a suspect wearing an all brown jogging suit, long sleeve hoodie with “Pokémon” on the pants, as well as a face mask, walked into the Mobil Station on 12th Street, Carlyle IL.

The suspect, approximately 5-feet 9-inches tall, grabbed some items off a shelf and walked to the counter to pay for them.

The suspect then brandished a gun and demanded all the cash in the cash register.
