CENTRALIA — Centralia police have arrested a 39-year-old Central City man in connection with a December burglary after some of the stolen items were found listed for sale online

Jason Brothers was taken into custody Wednesday for alleged retail theft at the Centralia Walmart Store.

Brothers was later also charged with the burglary. Officials became aware of the items after the owner of a storage unit facility on East McCord alerted them to the property on Ebay.

Officers contacted the listed company selling the stereo equipment and they informed police they had purchased it from Brothers.

Brothers was taken to the Marion County Jail.
