MARION COUNTY — A 56-year-old Salem man was sentenced Thursday in Marion County Court to four-years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a meth-related charge.

Terry Atteberry pleaded guilty to a Class 3 felony charge of possessing less than 5-grams of methamphetamine.

A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery, in that case, was dismissed per the plea agreement, as were charges in a separate case of Class 4 felony aggravated fleeing and Class 3 felony meth possession.

Atteberry was given credit for 132 days served in the county jail and after completing his prison sentence he will have to serve one-year mandatory supervised release.

Atteberry was arrested on the two charges by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies in September.
