SALEM — A 21-year-old Centralia woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash Sunday night on Green Street Road.

According to Illinois State Police, around 10:11 p.m., Jade Hamilton was traveling east on Green Street Road near Norton Road when her 2011 black Chevrolet sedan hydroplaned on the wet roadway and lost control. The vehicle ran off the roadway to the left and struck a ditch before it overturned several times.

Hamilton was transported by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia before being transferred to St. Louis area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
