MT. VERNON, IL — On Friday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Mt. Vernon Police Department reported the following arrests to this Withers Broadcasting/Dana Communications Radio Station;

57-year-old James Lane of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday by the Mt. Vernon Police Department for Retail Theft

39-year-old Melissa Jack of Carmi was arrested Thursday by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for a Probation Violation

42-year-old Eldon Millman of Mt. Vernon was arrested Thursday by the JCSO for Violation of Bail Bond.

56-year-old Lloyd Cook of Alton was arrested Thursday by the MVPD for Driving on a Revoked License, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Meth.

21-year-old Bentereya Barner of Mt. Vernon was arrested Friday by Mt. Vernon Police for Aggravated Battery.
