MT. VERNON – Three Mt. Vernon streets will be closed for paving Tuesday.

According to city officials, Lilac Lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon. Nature Trail and Buffalo Lane will be closed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You should follow all posted signs and instructions from workers for your safety and the safety of others. Plan your route accordingly to avoid delays.

The street will be paved one lane at a time. Residents living on the lane being paved, may experience up to a two hour block for the paving. Residents on the opposite side of street will be able to use the street until their lane is paved and the residents affected will be reversed.
