Kimberly Renee England, 46, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 1:53 pm January 7, 2025 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, Florida. She was born February 26, 1978 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Charles Richard and Patricia Jewell (Henry) England.
Kim is survived by her sister, Vicki Lee and husband, Ronnie of Bonnie, Illinois; caretaker, Grace Jedra of Florida; and stepmother, Mary England of Florida.
In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mack and Dorothy Henry and Nadine “Grandma Church” and Allen England; uncle, Eddie Henry and aunts, Carla Henry and Carolyn Jones.
Kim always went to bed with a smile and always woke up with a smile. She loved going to the beach and enjoyed eating pizza and Cheetos. Kim loved her caretaker, Grace, who cared for her for five and a half years.
“I know Heaven must be beautiful right now…because it has you in it.”
A Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Brian Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at Panther Fork Cemetery in Texico, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Kimberly’s honor to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
