CENTRALIA, IL — A fire caused by an electrical issue damaged a Centralia home Tuesday night. Firefighters responded to a call at a home on South Sycamore Street. The fire, which appears to have originated from a faulty electrical connection, was contained to the attic. While there was minor damage to the electrical system and insulation, the family was able to remain in the home.
