MARION COUNTY — A 30-year-old Centralia woman has been sentenced to 3-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, after she earlier pleaded guilty to a Class 2 felony meth-related charge.
Christin Page was arrested in June for possession of methamphetamine precursors. She reportedly admitted to investigators that of the 39 boxes of pseudoephedrine she had purchased in the past year had gone toward the manufacture of meth.
Page was formally charged with Class 2 felony possession of less than 15 grams of meth, to which she pleaded guilty a week after her arrest.
She posted $2,500 bond and was released from the Marion County Jail as she awaited the completion of a pre-sentencing investigation report and sentencing.
After completing her prison sentence, Page will have to serve two years mandatory supervised release and pay court costs.
