>WAYNE COUNTY — Four men are in the Wayne County Jail for alleged distribution of synthetic drugs in Fairfield. The arrests come after at least six individuals have been treated recently in the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Emergency Room for overdose of the drug

The suspects are identified as 25-year-old Daltin J. Spicer, of Cisne, 22-year-old Tyler E. Hutcheson, 18-year-old Jacob A. Chrtt, and 18-year-old David T. Asher, all of Fairfield.

All four face preliminary charges of contributing to the criminal delinquency of a minor and conspiracy to deliver a controlled or look-alike substance.

Two other suspects are juveniles and are also accused of involvement in distribution of the drug. Information about the juveniles has been forwarded to the Wayne County State’s Attorney for possible

The Fairfield City Police Department led the investigation with the assistance of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.

Police were first notified of three suspected overdoses on Nov. 24 when sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence in Cisne where they found three unresponsive individuals — two in a vehicle and a third lying in the driveway of a private residence.

Three more suspected overdoses have since been reported, including a student at Fairfield Community High School.
