MOUNT VERNON — Mt. Vernon police took two juveniles into custody around 8 a.m. Friday in connection with a recent burglary.

According to reports, the juveniles, ages 13 and 14, were taken into custody after a private citizen provided police with information regarding a burglary that had occurred at a building in the 1200 block of Tolle Road.

Based on the information provided, officers began to investigate the lead.

The two juveniles were taken into custody on Burglary charges. They were processed at the police department and released to guardians pending a court appearance.
