Tony Cunningham was arrested Monday on a Clinton County warrant charging him with four counts aggravated criminal sexual abuse — each is a Class 2 felony.
According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, the alleged victims are over the age of 5. The warrant set bail for Cunningham at $30,000.
Cunningham was convicted in 1994 of the same Class 2 felony charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim between the ages of 13 and 16, and was sentenced to 4-years probation.
He was initially charged, however, with both the Class 2 charge and a more serious Class 1 felony charge of criminal sexual assault, which was dismissed.
He is one of multiple instructors at Aiki Shin Tai Dojo in Centralia.
